Countisbury Lodge is a former vicarage in a classic South facing Victorian "gentleman's residence" up on the hillside looking out over Lynmouth and the oak forests of the Lyn Valley.

We offer two beautiful, dog friendly, self-catering units; a cottage with two bedrooms and an apartment with one bedroom.

The location is peaceful and with stunning surroundings. It is perfect for walkers and has great access to all of the offers of Lynton & Lynmouth as well as the rest of Exmoor.

Countisbury Lodge is just off the coastal path, set up on the hill, but just a ten minute walk down to the pubs, cafes, shops and sights of Lynmouth, with its rivers, harbour, beach and a huge array of walks. And of course, famous cliff railway up to Lynton with even more restaurants, cinema, and more.

Valley of Rocks

The walking here is amazing (if you don't mind hills). With beautiful locations such as the Valley of Rocks, Watersmeet and the Lyn Valley Gorge all starting here. The coastal path runs just minutes away from the Lodge.
