Cottage set in a stunning location, we went on many beautiful walks Long and short), we even enjoyed getting up and out early to beat the crowds!!
Everywhere you turn there is a wonderful view.
The cottage is in a good location where you can walk to local shops, pubs and resturants (there is a little steep walk back to the cottage but manageable!)
But also it is only a short drive away to other beautiful locations. Read less

Warm welcome from Pat the owner, as our first visit here was able to give us great information to get us started! Comfy beds, great shower, well equiped kitchen, clean and tidy. Very quiet location!

Can not think of a thing...

You do need to be able to negotiate steps to use the facilities. Lovely outside viewing platforms... We had a really lovely time, the breakfasts were great, the rooms comfortable...
Dislikes:
We initally found the hotel difficult to find and perhaps it does need clearer signage at the front and at the back for those who do not read the internet instructions properly!

The owners are friendly and helpful.They always had time to talk to us and to other guests.Maps,books etc available. Our room was pleasant,clean with a wonderful view.Good food.

Location overlooking the town of Lynmouth was lovely. Breakfasts were excellent as well.
Dislikes:
Accommodation was slightly faded, but owners are in the middle of renovation and have been concentrating on the adjacent apartment and cottage, so perhaps understandable.

We enjoyed very much our stay in countisbury lodge. It felt like living in a bird's nest with excellent view over lynmouth. Very friendly family and good breakfast. It's perfect!

The location is truly amazing, a beautiful house, very clean rooms, well equipped, homely feel.Great breakfasts,and where you felt very welcome by the owners,both were so welcoming and friendly.
Dislikes:
Having to leave....wish we had stayed longer.

Locaction was lovely. Very friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble. Even offered to pick us up from lynmouth one evening.
Dislikes:
Lack of storage and sloping ceiling in bathroom.
